Sturdiness- there is some play with using a 4x4, but 1. For the price it’s legit 2. They will support my permanent 6x6 stand just fine 3. Better quality than I expected based on the other reviews. 4. I’ll be buying more for more stands that have yet to be built. 5. 3/8 bolts work but very tight fit just an FYI

These are excellent brackets that save a wealth of time. They provide a perfect angle to provide great stability. Coupled with cross bracing your stand is rock solid. This is a great product that works as intended

I normally believe in standard construction methods and dont typically buy such products, however these are a real time and material saver. The compound angle creates a tower that when cross-braced properly and placed on level ground properly will be extremely rigid. Be sure to secure the center of the X using a chunk of 4x4 between the boards and it will be incredibly stable. These were well worth the money for my hunting shack which is 4x6 and on 12 posts.

Product served my purpose, but could have been better. Slot where 4x4 is inserted is too large. This allows the 4x4 to cant and wiggle in the bracket. Should be smaller and closer to the dimensions of the 4x4.
