Sure, I can always get a mid-priced ($12) patch cable, but it can never match the clarity of Mogami. Theres a huge difference of tone by just changing the cheap cables with a high quality one. I dont experience noise on this cable. I had used this for my bass pedals and it gave me good lows and crisp highs. I do use Mogami end-to-end; from instrument cable, pedal cables and patch cable to amp. Buy this, it last long and gives you statisfying tone. Worth the price. I had junked my previous Live Wire and Planet Waves cables which was just a total waste of money.

A little bit spendy, but Mogami products are ultra-high quality! Theyre great for fitting in the back of a rack. They have narrower 90-degree connectors than most.

I still have 4 mogami chords from 20 years ago I still use today. They are the quietest chords made. These chords are worth the money, the only cable that I had in my rig that was a mogami was my patch cable connecting my pedals. These cables have a life time warranty youll probably never use, thats how good they are and they are used in most big recording studios so that has to say something about the quality of there cables.

I am an enormous fan of mogami cables - but for some reason they keep sending me a cable damaged in the exact same place - I suspect its some misaligned cutting machine that that creates this damage - as I have seen another review with this same issue. EDIT: 3rd times a charm. after returning the 2 damaged ones - I finally received an intact third one. its worth noting that this is an absolutely top of the line cable, however Im leaving this up in hopes that it will draw the attention of whoever is in the quality control chain can stop this from happening again.

If you want the best sounds stream going through your pedals well I dont know of a better brand. Many can quibble about the can you really hear it and all I got to say if you can, buy it if you can afford it.

After about three weeks use, this cable got very sloppy on my Strat. I had my Strat inspected by a guitar tech, he said there was nothing wrong with my guitar input. He said that it sounds like lack of quality control when manufactured. This is a Lifetime cord and should be sent back? Beware!
