These wires are great. They met my expectations. I would definitely buy this brand again if I ever need speaker wires.

This stuff is excellent for the prices. Some times i found it even cheaper on the monoprice site than on amazon. I have about 500 feet of it running through my walls for two HT systems. Doesnt pick up any additional noise (assuming your not running it parallel to power lines) and the rubber sheathing is solid.

Worked like a charm. Just FYI though if you buy it have an sharp knife handy the white casing it decently thick and tight around the wires to stripping that casing took longer than expected, but thats my fault for not having a sharp knife handy.

Decent wire for the price. Appears more like 16 gauge than 14 gauge....and being a retired engineer who has worked with a LOT of wire...thats what it appears to me. Wish I would have ordered the 12 gauge but, due to time constraints, didnt have the time to return. But it will suffice for what I needed it for, i.e., apprx. 30 ft. run up the wall and into the attic for ceiling surround sound speakers.
