Worked great in wiring my living room for my speakers and new receiver. Very pleased with product.

The cable works great for my home theater system. The cost was not bad for this gauge cable.

Thinner sheathing than some other wire I bought but ran fine, sounds good. Spool sucks though!

Wired my theater system with this speaker wire after many hours of research. I was looking for in-wall rated wire that was oxygen free with a high strand count that could handle longer runs with low resistance. IMHO, It is a great value for the money. It has worked very well for all my in-wall and atmos ceiling speakers. I am very particular and wired my system to meet the Dolby standards for height and angle to the listener. I understand that there is some controversy about different kinds of speaker wire and the marketing hype surrounding them. This is just a high grade speaker wire without the hype. I purchased higher end speaker wire for my 2 front channels and used this for all the surround speakers and I couldnt be happier with its performance. I highly recommend this product.

This wire, at 12ga., is more limber than other wire I purchased that was 16 ga. For me, that makes it easier to work with. The bad thing was that it arrived late and the spool was damaged, which turned the roll into a bird’s nest.

As seen in the attached photos, the spool is crap - the end disks are cheap cardboard that falls apart and the central round core is cheap plastic that breaks even in shipment. All 4 250 boxes arrived with broken plastic center cores and one cardboard side broken off. So, if you try to pull, the wire unspools all over the floor. (See second photo.) I have had the same problem of crappy packaging on their 1,000 foot Cat6 network wires. If you carry them by proper grip holes, the cardboard tears and installation is a total PITA. If you only want to use them at home for a single install, go for it. But, if you do this for a living, take a pass and buy a higher quality product. You should not run your business with these products. Ive been buying Monoprice for many years and they seem to have really cut a lot of corners and cheapened things over the past 24 months. There is definitely some value for the money, but the aggravation and problems are starting to eliminate any competitive advantage they have.
