> 3 dayThe cord is made well and made of strong durable rubber the end however are totally crap and are already splitting after just a few days having gaps in them showing the soldered wires. Go buy a different brand and skip Monoprice, their cable quality has dropped drastically in the last few years

> 3 dayUnless you are always squeezing and stepping on your cables and need to be absolutely certain your cables will last no matter what, there is absolutely no reason to spend more. Dont get me wrong, these are already very sturdy cables. Its just I cant imagine another reason to buy more expensive cables. And to me there is something wrong with your application if you need cables more sturdy than these.
