> 24 hourThe 10 ft cable caused occasional flickering on my 4K 60 Hz monitor, so it definitely could not support 8K 60 Hz. The moral of the story is that dont cheap out on display cables and please get one that is VESA certified.d

> 24 hourIve bought a lot of braided cables over the years and theyre usually thicker and most are not as flexible as regular plastic. But not these! These are roughly the same diameter and even more flexible than the stock Pixel cable theyre replacing. Very happy.

> 24 hourWas a great purchase that just didn’t quite get done what I needed it to because of the limitations of the port on my dock. Otherwise, great and durable braided cable.

> 24 hourMy previous cable died after 4 years. Bought a Monoprice cable because I trust the name. Currently Im using 1440p monitor on 144Hz refresh rate. Looks like it works fine. The length is longer than the length of my old cable, 10ft vs 6ft. I would say it is more convenient. Good purchase.

> 24 hourTried several other cables to get a 5120x2160 monitor working at 10-bit RGB 60Hz, other similar cables claiming to be DP1.4 would only do it at either 30Hz or YCrCb422 color, indicating they were functioning at DP1.2 bandwidths. This one was actually slightly cheaper than the others I tried and actually worked at the bandwidth required.

> 24 hourJust works. No muss, no fuss. Very rugged. I’ll gladly take the thicker cable, if that means it is more reliable.

> 24 hourCable worked just fine for 2.5 months. About 2 weeks ago my monitor entered sleep mode as it always does after 5 minutes of inactivity. When I returned to my computer and moved my mouse to reactivate the monitor, I got the DisplayPort no signal box, and monitor returned to sleep. I turned it off entirely and back on, and at that time it continued to work fine. Today the same thing happened and this time nothing works. Ive rebooted, unplugged the power to the monitor. Tried the other 2 ports on my graphics card. Cable has just died. This seems to be pretty common as this is the 3rd cable Ive had do this, and all 3 were different brands. First one worked for about 6 months and died, 2nd one I got ONE WEEK out of it. Back to HDMI I guess. Amazingly enough Ive never had an HDMI cable fail on me in 15+ years.

> 24 hourUPDATE: Im dropping a star because I began experiencing display dropouts when I switched my monitors to 10-bit mode. The cables still work perfectly fine at 1440p 165Hz 8-bit though so I think they will be okay for most people. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Since everything seems to come with 6 foot cables and proper cable management eats up a lot of length I needed some longer ones. Got a couple of these Monoprice 10ft DisplayPort 1.4 cables and Im very happy with them. They are quite thick and sturdy feeling. Physical connection is fairly solid as well. Compared to paying 2-3x the price at a big box store these are a no-brainer. Working perfectly with my two 1440p monitors at 165Hz, no issues whatsoever. Ill also point out that the cables come coiled in a loop and arent folded. This is a big plus in my book as there wont be any permanent bends in the cable. These will be my go-to as long as theyre still available.

> 24 hourGetting flickering issues @1440p -165 hz. Other/lower resolutions work. Replaced cable with stock one and now I am not getting flickering. Not sure whether I got a dud or these cables are marketed incorrectly.
