These letters are wonderful. They are smooth and feel great in your hands. They are not terribly thick, but they look like they will last if used as a learning tool. My 5 y.o. has been surprisingly interested in the games we play with them. Great for reading/spelling practice.

Just as described and a great addition to any curriculum for home education.

I used these beautiful little alphabets for years as a Montessori Teacher. They are made to withstand use by many children over a long period. Since most children doing early learning at home only use them while doing early phonics word building, they are overkill for most parents except the wealthy. Better to go to Montessori Print Shop or Montessori For Everyone and purchase a downloadable, printable set that comes with full instructions. Use the $ you save to buy other cost-effective materials for use at home. For more ideas, see

We love it. very good quality and nice box. the only problem is my kids cant tell the B, D and P apart.. M and W are hard also when putting them away. but we are getting better with that. all in all great choice.

This is a great approach to reading and spelling. There are enough if each letter to make plenty of words. The size is perfect for my newly turned three year olds level of dexterity & she really enjoys them. Successfully make learning fun!

This is another Montessori product that is very useful when teaching the alphabet to your child. My only concern was that the letters are small enough to put in your mouth but my wife assures me that she is with our grandson all the time, they are using the item. It does work, as our three year old grandson now knows his alphabets

I bought this for my son back when he was learning letters and words. I think having a movable alphabet is very helpful. I even made up word games that he and I could play together using it. You start with letters, then words, then sentences, and then paragraphs. You will get a lot of use out of it.

The small one perfect size. The letters are about as big as the palm of your hand and the single box is great.

This is a great product for early learning. We bought this for my 4yo and it has been a great learning tool. Pros- *individual slots for each letter *plenty of pieces for each letter *quality pieces-they arent going to just break or bend Cons- *Having a baby who likes to take off with the pieces while your using them *Box is large for storing in a cupboard or some shelves Overall I would highly recommend this item for learning. It could be used from 2 years to 7 years old and be very useful.

This is a nice movable alphabet set and has been great for reading with my 5 year old. Unfortunately, I immediately noticed that the wood box was coming apart a little bit and that it literally shipped all the way from China! A little gorilla glue fixed the box I just wish it would have been put together a little better. I hope it holds up.
