I love this cup. I’m glad I finally bought it after thinking about for so long. It’ll tell you on the box how much gas to use. I can get about an inch of tungsten stick out when I really need it. And of course the longer the tungsten stick out, the more gas you need. Works amazing on stainless and titanium, especially when doing fillet and butt welds. Do not use on aluminum.

If youve never used a Fupa, youre not as good as a welder as you can be. Does that explain how good this product is? Makes a good welder more gooder welder. Ive heard people say to learn on a standard cup before going to a FUPA. I think thats maybe true, just so you can appreciate how much easier and clean your TIG welds can be. TIG welding is so involved, so many settings, so many materials, thickness, conditions, and the furick gas lens just helps so much in providing proper consistent gas coverage while allowing a fairly large tungsten stick out. I am not a pro, however I do have some experience. I do use a cheaper welder (Prime Weld) comes with a great torch (CK Worldwide) The Fupa now makes my garage TIG welder an absolute pleasure to work with!! It does everything I want, and really well too now with a quality looking... professional looking results

Man if you have not tried one of these you must!!! Tig welding stainless is unbelievable!
