If you’re buying this because you don’t want to put holes in your walls, don’t. The adhesives are not strong enough to hold up your cleaning tools. Once you put the nails in, though, this was a game changer. Made my closet that much more organized

Mount it to the wall with screws for best results.

Nice affordable hanger for the garage. Not as fancy as the big brands, but it does the job and works as expected. Pretty easy to install and use. I might get another one.

The metal needs to be thicker. Its flimsy and I have to use 2 hands to pull the broom off of it, the clasps are stuffer than the metal that holds them up.

After reading many reviews and even ordering a different one, I settled on this and installed two. My challenge was to install on painted panel doors in a rental kitchen. Like the others I read/tried, this doesnt offer a good install solution when mounting damage is a concern. In the end, I opted for a flexible method that was a bit unsightly, but it works and is hidden most of the time, since the door is almost always closed. (Note that I installed with this method alone, no helper.) The adhesive foam included in package would likely leave nasty sticky foam bits when removed. It is 3M foam-tape, but apparently not Command type. So I filched some over-the-door hooks Id saved from a jewelry-rack organizer, along with some flat plain hooks from same organizer. I ran soft craft wire from the door hooks and through the flat hooks to support the long metal bracket. Then I used white Gorilla tape to adhere the bracket in multiple places to the door. I suppose you could use white cord or even dental floss/tape for better aesthetic. The bracket itself is substantial, not cheap. From prior experience, I find Gorilla tape to be friendlier than other duct tape. Its adhesive lets me reposition until Im satisfied, and with all my skin oils on the tape strips by the time Im done, its not so destructive during removal, years later. Note: the black grippers are super stiff, but the space behind them is too big to grab a narrow Swiffer rod. The Swiffer rod falls through the mechanism until the handle stops it. (Or press the Swiffer handle into the grippers. Other hangers with retaining balls are too loose to accomodate this.) Not sure I would recommend for someone with arthritis or other dexterity issues. I dont clean a lot (ha!), so the stiffness of the grippers doesnt bother me under such occasional use. Just need to get the ugly beasties out of sight!

Only thing I’ve found that is tough and sturdy. All the other units (especially the ones that have multiple hooks on them) fall apart. These individual hooks haven’t lost their grip in over a year

This wall storage is superior to anything I have seen in stores. Its STURDY. Nice metal. Easy to use and looks nice. If you are installing, you might want to switch out screws. We did have one strip. Well worth the $! It reminds me of something you could buy back in the day.
