We like how heavy the dish is, it holds heat properly so the crust gets cooked as it should. My husband is learning how to bake pies so this is getting a lot of use and he has commented on how much he likes it...

This will make a nice deep dish pie - It is certainly pretty enough to put on a table and serve! I love the speckled design in the ceramic. It looks like it will last a life time and then some Its got some weight to it - it will also be nice not to have to put a cookie sheet underneath the pie pan!

Extra deep Very Nice

I was looking for a deep dish pie pan that had smooth sides. Many of the others I considered had scalloped inner walls. This one is only fluted on the very top of the side wall. Ive used it 6 times now. Works great.

I really love this deep dish pie pan. I have made at least 10 pies in it so far and they turn our evenly cooked and toasty brown each time. I have had people compliment my pan as well, lol. They liked the actual pie, too ;) This would totally make a great gift! An even better if you bake a pie in it before hand!
