I bought this docking station because I didnt need all of he extra docking station features that the steamdeck dock that Valve makes has. I wanted something portable and yet rugid as I travle with it and connect it to my monitor or TV. The aluminum construction is perfect and there is no flex to it at all. The USB-C connector is a right angle connector as it is also braided nylon. It also comea with a rubber padding that you can apply to where the bottom of the deck sits. Would highly recommend if anyone is looking for a cheaper alternative to the original dock.

Its really nice, its really easy to place in one place, and I also tested the switch in it. It does work on it.

Everything was plug and play and easy to setup! Solid feel to the docking station and the plugs hold the cables sturdy. Great travel size too.

I purchased this primarily to have a place to charge my steam deck when it is connected to my TV for multiplayer games like Jackbox Party Packs. I was impressed by the solid metal construction and braided piggyback charging cable - it feels substantial in the hand. The ports are all clearly labelled and work well. I am considering purchasing another one for my friend who saw it and really seemed interested in it.

I use this for both docking the Steam Deck and Switch. You have to place the Switch upside down, but it does work. Definitely better than the overpriced Steam dock. 4k works too.

This dock is really convenient. As for a college student who are struggling with desk space. I have to use a table to maximize my space. But it’s quite annoying when you have detach everything to carry the laptop to school. And when you get back, you still reconnect the device one by one. That’s stupid. But with this dock that I attach all my accessories to, just one single step to disconnect this dock, and I can bring my laptop to class.
