These have worked well for cleaning the old paint and rust off the truck I am rebuilding. Takes it right down to the shiny metal. Have not had any problems with these discs flying apart.

I quickly stripped 46 years of paint from the hull of a 14 aluminum rowboat with only 2 of these. Just be careful ... I am sure I could have ground through the aluminum too. A great tool and value for the money.
