Heavy duty with nice stiff bristles for giving the tire a good scrubbing. Wouldnt advise using it on your rims as its not designed for that but also purchased the rim brush which is soft and gets into all of the different cut outs on my rim.

I bought this tire brush to replace a similar one that i had used satisfactorily for years but left at a coin car wash. This brush is shaped nearly identical to my old brush but the bristles are much too stiff to make good contact with the tire sidewall resulting in missed areas that must be gone over repeatedly.

This is a great brush and its very inexpensive, what more do you need to know? Okay, so a few more details: The brush has a nice curved shape to it which really conforms nicely to a normal size tire (low profile tires may not work as well). The bristles are plenty stiff for cleaning a tire, if they were any stiffer you would tear up the rubber. With a good cleaner (I use Meguiars APC+), this brush will work great to agitate the cleaner and remove grime and old layers of tire dressings. The handle is very ergonomic and allows you to apply a good amount of force into the scrubbing with minimal discomfort. Overall a good brush and well worth the $7. It appears very sturdy and I am guessing this will last many years.

The handle is comfortable in your hand, the bristles are short enough to really scrub the rubber, designed for its purpose
