When I do installs for articulating brackets, I look for back plates that will mount across two studs . Also, I look for ease of attaching TV and adjustments. This mount has it all. You cant go wrong with this mount..unless youre doing something wrong ...

We moved our old plasma TV to the second floor in our game room. It’s a 58 inch Samsung and we’ve very much enjoyed it for the past 9 years. The plasma TV’s are considerably heavier than the LED’s but the Mounting Dream MD2296-24 says it can handle up to 100 lbs which is more than enough (58 inch plasma = 85 lbs). Everything about the mount was superb. The box it came in; the instructions; the ease of installation. The design allows the ability to place the mount on the wall and install brackets on the TV, then place the TV with the brackets on the mount. The kit even comes with a template and a level. I didn’t use the template, but the level came in handy. This particular model also allows for different widths of wall studs. All the hardware is included. The big test is when I had to rewire a couple of devices a few months after installing the TV, and the mount worked flawlessly. We don’t move the TV very often on the swivel, but even with a TV this large and heavy it feels stable when moving or swiveling it. For the price I would definitely recommend this product.

Sturdy and quality.

I liked the sturdiness, disliked everything needed to be self assembled. Also recieved the wrong piece to secure the end so TV cant slide off to the right. I hope they can make this right. I liked the ability to fully rotate the TV, just need the right piece to be fully satisfied.

this is exactly what I needed with a TV that sits in a wall cutout that is about 2 feet deep. Easy install and moves without any troubles. Other reviews mentioned that it wouldnt stay in position and wanted to swivel down. I just had to use the supplied allen wrench to tighten it and stayed perfect.
