Ive used this to mount two different 50 TVs with very different mounting screw patterns, and the mount handled both with ease. I guess the only con is that the mount doesnt get the TV close too flush with the wall, but otherwise I have no complaints.

Greater than one weekMounted my 55 inch TCL 5 Series. Roughly 40 pounds. I was worried about a single stud mount holding my TV but this thing is super sturdy. Once I got it mounted my worries went away. Simple to install and has everything you need in the box including a template and levels. (YOU WILL NEED A SOCKET SET) TCL TVs have spacers installed on the top row for whatever reason. I removed these and just used the two longer spacers included with the mounting dream. Worked like a charm.

> 3 dayVery Well built heavy mount. I needed a single stud option and this fit the bill! I was questioning the sturdiness of a single stud mount. But, once this thing was on the wall and I felt it this thing isn’t going anywhere!! 3 lag bolt holes in the mounting plate secure it quite well!

> 3 dayAstounding quality at a great price; exceptionally well made. Be aware however that if you are using a TV with RECESSED mounting holes, you will probably need screws that are NOT included in this package. My television is a 55 Samsung Curve model, 400mm VESA spacing. However, the lower mounting holes are recessed, and I needed to get M8 x 50mm bolts at Home Depot in order to made this work. I dont think anyone includes 50mm long bolts!

> 3 dayWe used this mount to place a 42 LG LED TV, circa 2012, on our bedroom wall. The center of my bedroom happens to fall on a stud, which made mounting between two studs quite problematic from an aesthetics standpoint. The three lag bolts do hold this TV quite solidly and I am/would not be concerned about the stability of a lighter LED/LCD/Plasma at all, so long as you hit the stud. I am in the process of moving in and could not find my socket set. Id highly recommend having the 1/2 socket/ratchet handy, as turning the center lag bolt about 1/8 of a turn at a time got really old, really quick.

> 3 dayLike others I was a little concerned if the mount to a single stud would be adequate for a 55 TV. After installing it I have no concerns. With the 3 lag screws driven into the center of the stud it isnt going anywhere!! Very solid. Like the fact that it is a double arm design. The instructions were adequate but think a few extra words would be helpful in a few spots.
