UNABLE TO INSTALL ITEM SO ITS OF NO USE

NOT REALLY ANYTHING I COULD NOT HAVE DONE WITH A YOUTUBE FLV DOWNLOADER OR A FLV TO MP4 CONVERTER. KIND OF NOT REALLY WORTH THE MONEY IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH ADD ONS ON FIREFOX.

The software worked for three months without any issue, now it keeps telling me its a demo License, enter your serial number. Im traveling and on the road most of the time. I dont carry all my software CDs with me. I purchased MovieJack from Engelmann Distribution through Amazon on 7/4/2018. Installed the software CD and its been working fine. When i try to use it now, Ive been getting couple of error messages: One says, MovieJack not Registered the other error message says, Demo License. Ive contacted Tim Stoepler twice at Engelmann Distribution since November 26, 2018, sent him my proof or purchase from Amazon and explained the situation to him in details and the response I received from him was as follows: since you bought on Amazon, we dont have you in our database. Which problems do you have with our software? I replied back to him and sent him the screen shots but I havent received a response yet! Heres their business Tagline: Engelmann Distribution is committed to providing each customer with the highest standard of customer service. Is this the best you can do, Tim Stoepler, can you do any better?

I purchased the MovieJack after the trial as the product works as described. Unfortunately the license key keeps failing although it showed the expiry date should be 30/June/2021. It stops working after a few days. The Engelmann support person did something (but did not generate a new activation key) to make it work, only to fail after a few days. Then he recommended me to download the latest version. This also worked for a few days then the license expired again. No response from Engelmann support after another follow up. So my opinion is: Do not spend your money for something that does not work.

Buyer beware: This isnt a purchase to own - while you get a CD & keep case the fee only covers a lease/subscription for one year. A MoneyJack.. IMO that fact was less than obvious until paying and then having to register for lack of time to order an alternative. Even on their site now they have a Buy button to proceed - why doesnt it say click to lease or rent for 12 months? I couldnt tell if their other products like Phomizer have the same temporary terms of use so for those still true reasons Im only giving this one star. How well does this capture? From what I recall earlier this summer I was able to save a couple of youtube videos but I also recall some others were problematic and other sites were less compatible. Had I realized it was a license for only one years lease I would have looked for an alternative. The bigger problem is that for me this really didnt work and there is no support. Big disappointment to not get the functionality advertised.

It does download YouTube videos, but little if anything else. Waste of $$$$

As of September 19, 2017 ONLY one review of this software is a Verified Purchase from Amazon. Sadly, the review was NOT good. I will keep looking for something with real reviews.

UPDATE: 12-16-20 I contacted them and they promptly responded and said they would work on the issue and had it resolved and back working within a few days snd contacted me to let me know! Awesome customer service for getting on it so promptly and responding back! I highly recommend this software and this company pretty much for their product and their great customer service! 5 stars and 2 thumbs up! 12-14-20. It worked fine for about a month and then it started saying “download to portal YouTube has been canceled” as of right now I am waiting to hear back from customer support to hopefully know if I wasted my money on this product. I will update this review as soon as I hear something back from them..
