> 3 dayMy fully grown 3 male rats use this log as their main nest. They also enjoy laying on top of the log observing their surroundings. My cage didnt have enough room to hang it, but the hanging clips allowed me to lock the log onto the side of the cage, so it never moves around. The rats quickly took apart the plaid lining on the inside of the log and turned it into bedding. So dont be surprised if you see plaid shreds strewn about.
