well, if you really like the smell of strong basil this is for you. for me, this is tooo strong.

The outer box label says there are 6 basil but that’s not what we received. We will keep them, and use it as an opportunity to try new scents, since it’s hard to go very far wrong with Mrs Meyers soap.

Im a new fan of the Mrs. Meyers products. Ive had some good experiences, but Im not at all crazy about the Basil scent. To me it has a very light stale odor reminiscent of a dank basement. I tried to like it, but no matter how many times I come back, thats all I can smell. ...The Geranium is good, as is the Lemon Verbena.

One of my favorite soaps. Works in the kitchen and bathroom, cleans and moisturizes and leaves a light, lovely basil scent.

We really love this soap around our house. Use it all the time and consistently refill our bottles. The smell is very refreshing and unique. Perhaps a little unintuitive at first to consider -- but very very nice. This company sells refill bags that work well with the plastic bottles.

I ordered this item, as I usually do often, and I received the wrong scent. I was not in my office when the package was opened and they had already started using the soap. I ordered basil scent because its not and over powering scent, but they sent me lemon verbena and it stinks!

This soap has a great looking label design and performs as a soap should, but I really wanted something that smells like basil and this soap sadly does not

I love this soap! Works great, smells great, and easy on the skin. I would buy it again and it saved me some money over the brick and mortar stores in town.

Love love LOVE this soap. Smells amazing and it is truly a unique smell. I feel like this soap lasts longer than foam soap as well. I buy it by the case and frequently give away! I cant imagine ever not having this around the house!

I really wish I could love Mrs. Meyers body products. I think they smell amazing, but good grief, my skin has never been so dry than when using these products. I have tried the hand soap in Basil, Parsley and Lavender - all smell great, all leave my hands literally cracking and peeling from dryness. I have also tried the bar soap for use in the shower - same thing - Smells great, leaves my skin ashy, white and flaky. I dont have sensitive skin either, its just something in these products that strip my skin down to nothing. Maybe youll have better luck, but I dont recommend this product to anyone with dry or sensitive skin.
