> 3 dayWe purchased this product from this seller before to make a parrot-safe bird cage, and had no qualms the first time. We purchased again* ~1 year later, and there has been a drastic decline in quality. This is advertised as bird-safe, and it is NOT. Every other joint seems to have a nasty barb and/or excess solder attached that we can’t simply sand off - we’ve tried wire brushes, files, torches, sanding sponges, etc. to reduce the amount, but it has hardly made a difference. We’re looking at hundreds of hours of picking to get them off of the cage - they are sharp enough to tear our skin (as seen in a photo) so they’ll be too sharp for birds. We will likely need to spent another several hundred dollars to replace the wire and hopefully salvage the rest of the materials and start from scratch. If you are trying to build a bird-safe aviary, I do NOT recommend this product. *initially purchased from another account

> 3 dayI purchased this product which was significantly more expensive than other hardware fabric material because it stated stainless steel and no galvanization which contains lead which can potentially leach out into the soil and get into the vegetables and into myself and my family. Not until I unpacked the material I saw the small print. Should have listened to Joan Baez and taken the birds and bees, please.

> 3 dayUsed this to make a cage for our Jardines Parrot. Works perfectly. A bit difficult to cut, but if it were easy to cut, our birds built-in wire cutters (aka her beak) would be able to break it. Shes got no hope of biting through this, but I cant say whether Id trust it for containing a large parrot like a macaw (might work fine, I just dont have any experience with them). One roll is just about enough for a 3x4x5 cage, if youre careful, and, even once you add in some lumber and stainless steel screws/latches/etc, is far cheaper than a comparably-sized quality premade cage. I use the scraps to guard my miniature cactus collection from our cats. Also working perfectly for that so far.

> 3 dayQuality rust proof mesh. When cutting the mesh, some of the welds for individual wire will break loose.
