> 3 dayI would have liked to have had a suggestion book to show you how to use this thing. That would certainly made it easier to figure out.

> 3 dayGood for long arming, however the shapes are quite small and these rulers tend to shift. I had to purchase additional grips to keep it in place. Also, they crack easily if dropped. I find the smallest size is too small to make me want to use it in any custom quilting. I have used the 2 largest sides. I purchased this thinking that it was almost like a 4in one, however I wasnt overly impressed.

> 3 dayI have seven Handi Quilter rulers made in the United States, purchased about two years ago. These are the safer, thicker rulers which can be used with machines that allow 1/4” clearance. Marks are permanently etched onto the bottom of the ruler, so no disappearing, no parallax when used right side up. This is a really nice design. Smooth, so you will want to apply some sort of anti-slip. I was disappointed the Multi Clam Shells ruler, which arrived today, was not made in the United States. That is the minus one star. The ruler arrived quickly, in excellent shape despite getting squished into my mailbox. The mailing pouch did its job well.

> 3 dayExcellent 1/4 thickness. However, for quilting on a home machine, its a bit cumbersome to do a repeat clamshell pattern from edge to edge. I will use for small sections where I need a half circle so it was not a complete waste. Hopefully, I will get a longarm someday and be really able to see the benefits of this rulers. Its a good clamshell ruler with 4 sizes, but more suited for a long arm.
