Multi-Purpose Scrub Sponges for Kitchen by Scrub-it - Non-Scratch Microfiber Sponge Along with Heavy Duty Scouring Power - Reusable Cleaning for Dishes, Pots and Pans All at Once (6 Pack, Small)

It has been 3.5 years since I had to order a new pack of these sponges! The sponge on the left has been my daily dish sponge for the last 2 years and the one on the right is straight out of the new package. I have used this sponge for scrubbing both non-stick and cast iron pots and pans, enamelware, daily dishware, fine china, grilling utensils, and even stemware without any scratches. The blue side is microfiber and the grey side has nylon-like threads woven into the fabric to be able to scrub burnt-on foods without much effort while not scratching delicate surfaces. They are easy to clean too! I know that some folks just stick them in the dishwasher. I have learned over the years that tossing them into the washing machine on a hot cycle with bleach to kill bacteria and white vinegar in the rinse cycle to prevent any musty smell, not only works better to keep these clean, but doesnt cause them to fall apart. As you can see from the pictures, this method works to keep them clean. I also use these sponges in the bigger size in the bathroom. They have always kept my bathtubs and shower walls clean of soap scum without much effort needed to put into scrubbing! I have a separate sponge for the floors since mopping around the toilet and cabinets with an actual mop doesnt feel clean or sanitary. That being said, I always wash my dish sponges and bathroom sponges separately! You DO NOT want to mix them up!

The product works relatively fine, it degrades somewhat fast (be careful in cleaning knifes with it, because you will cut through the sponge very easily if you use the wrong side ...). We had a similar product from another vendor that worked perfectly, but its not available anymore. Be careful with specially coated pots and pans for non-stickiness because it will take the coating away and loose its cooking properties (eg: making perfect omelets)

I was glad to find these scrubbies because I couldn’t find them locally anymore. Great price. But the small is smaller than described. Buy large.

Not a usual amazon reviewer - but these sponges are that good. Durable, great size, and get the job done! Also, you ca wash and reuse - thats so much better for the environment.

I am obsessive about cleaning and these sponges are amazing! I love that I use it for one day, then throw it in the wash and don’t have to worry about all the germs that sponges hold. I literally wish I had found these 20 years ago, I have been showing and telling everyone I knew about these sponges and how great they work.

===================== Original Review - 4 Stars ===================== These sponges are great! Skip to the last paragraph to see the one downside. They are very large so they are able to clean a large surface area quickly; however, the large size of the sponge may make it more difficult to use these sponges for people with very small hands. Although, my girlfriend doesnt seem to have a problem with the size and she has small hands. The rough (gray) side is great for scrubbing and the blue side is great for soft washing. I mainly stick to using the rough side for everything because it seems to do the job better in almost all cases. This sponge holds soap amazingly! It seems like you add soap once and it lasts much longer than typical sponges. I only need to apply soap once or twice to wash a decent amount of dishes. This is one of the most important things that I consider in a sponge, and it passes this well. The number of sponges you get for the price is incredible. I believe that the pack of 6 will last a few months, if not longer than a year. Weve been using the first sponge practically every day for 3-4 weeks now and there is no noticeable deterioration of the sponge. Very satisfied with the durability of the sponge. The one downside, and the reason Im giving 4 stars, is that it seems like these sponges have the same problem as all sponges - they end up getting a wet, old sponge smell to them after some time. This may have been caused by someone not wringing out the water after using it. Maybe this wont be a problem if it is wrung out after every use. My girlfriend has attempted to put it into boiling water, and soaking it in hot water and soap - both with no noticeable difference in odor. We will continue looking for methods to remove the odor from the sponge. ================================== Updated Review June 19th, 2020 - 5 Stars ================================== I didnt think that my favorite sponges could get better, but they did. First of all, an update to the durability and duration of use. I originally ordered these sponges on July 5th, 2019. I ordered a second pack about a month ago and just opened it for the first time today. The first pack of 6 sponges lasted almost an entire year!! That value simply cannot be beat. The thing that prompted me to update my review is that I noticed the new pack of sponges I received are a different size than the ones I previously ordered. I guess I accidentally ordered the small version instead of the large version. The length of the sponge is the same, but the width of the sponge around half the size it seems. I have fairly small hands for a man and because of this, the width of the large sponges from before didnt make it very easy to grip the whole sponge the same way that I can now with the small size. The small size allows me to grip the sponges in a very intuitive way that makes it easy to clean inside deep pots and glasses. My grip on the sponge looks sort of like a hawk grip if you can imagine that. You can see the new size in my new images. Hopefully you can also see the old size in the original image that I posted. I will continue buying these sponges for as long as they are on Amazon!

Ive used these sponges a lot over the years for cleaning and I found this value pack at a fraction of the cost from big box stores. These will last me awhile. They are versatile for kitchen or heavy cleaning and they hold up very well. Theyre thick, hold in soap or cleaners, scrub really well and the soft microfiber-ish side is soft and wipes nicely and safely.

I bought these about 2 months ago, as it suddenly hit me that the washable scrubbies I had in the bath would be great in the kitchen. Why did it take me so long? I found this set of six and they are awesome. I love them because 1) having a sponge on the back side of the mesh scrub means I can hold it tighter and scrub harder, 2) the bound edge lets me dig into corners and stubborn spots, 3) the cloth sponge is soft in case I need to wipe delicate things (I dont, because I got those things out of my kitchen, but you might), pus it feels soft on my skin and not slimy, 4) they really do wash clean in the regular cycle and so far the cloth side hasnt held a stain 5) the cloth sponge side doesnt shed little bit if I scrub hard like a regular sponge does 6) it dries quickly 7) getting 6 means you can wash them often without having to buy several sets 8) they can deal with the grease on the stovetop and my multiple baking sheets and muffin pans - yes, I wash them by hand 9) saves money in the not-very-long run - really, isnt a 4-pack of decent sponges with a scrub side at least $5? Even if I stretch the use for a regular sponge to 3 weeks, Id be almost that much money in by now, and past the $13 cost by the end of the holiday baking season. Ill be washing these environmental helpers for at least a couple of years Id guess. I keep two in the lav and four in the kitchen in the bin for plastic bag I dont need any more. I got the smaller size for the kitchen and the peanut curve shape fits nicely in my hand; the larger ones would be too big for me to use daily, but good for messier jobs with deep bathroom scrubs or basement disasters., or people with larger hands. Just measure the sponge youve got and pick from there. I am so glad I bought these. Consider them! Ive used them pretty hard for two months now and they look and feel the same. I am all over these - great product.
