we think, the purpose of the spoons is quite simple untill you come across a challenge. these spoons have the feature of turnign white when hot, which is great. the spoon is gentle on teething babys gums as well. but its very strange that they keep falling. I did read about this point in one of the reviews but thought should not be a big deal. but it is. the spoons will not rest in any bowl, they will turn upside down, causing a spill. you can only rest them on a flat surface or plates for that matter. I have OXO spoons as well and we can clearly see the difference, they are so perfect. I would not prefer these again.

Love that the spoon changes color when the food is hot.

I love these spoons, but not for the heating tips - those are never useful or accurate. The best thing is how flexible the sides of the spoon are, you can scrape the sides of baby jars and get everything! Its like rubber spatula status. I plan on getting more in the future.

these spoons do the job i suppose but i had purchased the silicone tipped ones for my first kid and think ill go back to them. The plastic on the edges of these is just a little to sharp for my 5 month old. she doesnt seem to enjoy them. At first i just thought she wasnt ready for solids so i tried one of the older spoons i had with the silicone coating on it and she loved them and has no trouble eating. i do like that these are white hot safety spoons but just overall not very pleased with them.

With both my kids, most of the baby products I have purchased over the years are from Munchkin. I trust the brand, the love the quality. And they last so long. I got these for the new baby and Im happy with these, with my older one I bought the regular Munchkin spoons but I think now theyve upgraded to the temperature changing ones which I totally love. It really does work, the spoon turns white almost immediately if its in anything hot. The size is perfect, my son eats from it very easily. This mama 100% recommends.

This spoon is fantastic! It really works well for a child learning to self-feed, because food doesnt just fall off (unless you loaded the bowl), and its soft enough that my baby can chew on it without me having to worry about him hurting his gums. I also like that you can stand it up on a table or tray, and it looks so cute!

These survived the dishwasher, and the baby likes them enough. But I prefer my Munchkin spoons with the metal handle, as the rubber layer is softer and changes color to denote food being too hot much faster. These spoons do not change color fast enough, and the color change is not as stark, so its easier to miss if you are trying to make a bowl of food quickly.
