Murderville (The First of a Trilogy)

> 3 dayThese authors are back at it again with another slam dunk dramatic romantic tragedy. AShai and Liberty meet at a tender age during unfortunate circumstances at the hand of rebels, but thats just the beginning of their tortured tale. All these two have is each other as they flee Africa, but end up separated in Mexico after boarding a boat they think is named MYRTLEVILLE, but is really called, MURDERVILLE. Their lives take two drastically different paths, and eight years later AShai is a recent college graduate taking over the reigns of his fathers drug empire, and Liberty is in the escort business finally enjoying lifes simple and basic pleasures that shes been deprived of, along with the finer things in life. Coincidence brings them back together, but the drama is sure to follow as Liberty now belongs to AShais ruthless and controlling business partner Samad. All AShai wants is to protect Liberty once and for all, but even his father isnt willing to go against the grain for some chick, and quickly gives him an ultimatum. With AShais world crumbling and Samad seeking revenge, this read is full of ups, downs, twists, and turns. Its far from predictable, and is sure to tap into your emotions as the story line crescendos into climax and then back down. This book deserves nothing less than five stars. These authors packed so much action into this read, yet it does not seem overdone. So much happens to these two love birds while they are apart, and then reunited, but it is explained perfectly and vividly. Although much of what happens is based highly on coincidence, and the character circumstances are a familiar image from their previous works, this story is seemingly refreshing and brand new. Loyal fans pretty much know what to expect from these authors, yet every time readers cant help but fall in love with the characters they so eloquently present and are filled with emotion by the outcomes. I cant wait for part two!

> 3 dayAs usual A&J told another good story...I felt the love and connection between Ashai and Liberty. I also admired Ashais relationship with Baron and especially Willow. But when it was all said and done..this was a real depressing and sad story. Being familiar with the way these 2 authors write...Ive learned to always think outside the box when it comes to their stories so I was able to figure out the twists and turns before they were actually revealed and this made alot of things predictable to me. I wasnt really satisfied with the ending and felt it was a bit rushed...It left alot to be desired with more questions than answers. I guess once Im finished reading the whole trilogy and all the holes are filled then Im quite sure that this will all turn out to be a 5star read...I just have to look at this story as one big puzzle piece and once the rest is released all of it will come together and make sense.....but so far this was a typical A&J read for me. If you are a rookie to A&J stories then you will love this book but as a veteran it just seems like I than read it all before. I give it 3.5 stars

> 3 dayAll I can say is.....WOW! After reading Murder Mammas and being completely disappointed, I didnt have high hopes for Murderville. I was wrong. I finished this book in hours, feverishly turning the pages, needing to know what was going to happen next. The story in its totality is heart wrenching. All that Ashai and Liberty go through breaks your heart, especially Liberty. I cant wait for part 2. I hope it wont disappoint.

> 3 dayI read this book in just a few hours because I could not put it down. It was a great read but I HATED the ending. My feelings were hurt because it wasnt a fairy tale ending. I would love to read the others but I am so disappointed that one of the main characters wont be in it. I simply fell in love with Liberty and Ashai.
