> 24 hourWell I liked it at the original price and now the price is significantly reduced for prime day early access at the time of this review, which makes this a fantastic deal! If you were thinking about getting it but werent sure, get it at this price !! When I requested this, there were a few low rating reviews, so I was a bit hesitant. But for me who is not a sound snub, this turned out to be a great bluetooth speaker from the sound quality to the material quality. I mean I fell for it as soon as I opened the box as it looked just great ! My brother’s editor who is a sound snub says its’ not too shabby as well ! I enjoy classical music, and this one has been placed in the dining room and connected to the mini computer there, which I’ve been using almost everyday over the last 6 months. I love it.

> 24 hourTHIS THING IS AMAZING! It gets so loud, the sound quality is unmatched for a speaker of this size, and I genuinely don’t think I’ve charged it even once. I’m a big believer that if you buy something with a higher price that’s actually worth it, you’ll never have to buy another one! I’m so happy I have this especially considering I probably won’t need another one for at least twenty years! 10 out of 10 recommend!

> 24 hourI have other Muzen products so I already knew this was going to be a great speaker! This audio company is so underrated! Worth the money. I’d LOVE to have two for a stereo pair BUT there is no way I’m going to spend that kind of money when you cannot replace the battery so after the battery dies it becomes a paperweight, which is a shame for such a well made speaker. Sound quality is excellent for a Bluetooth speaker. I usually use airplay or ChromeCast for hi-res music, but for outdoor use, it’s perfect “Bluetooth”. Build quality is AMAZING. Bass is great and it does get loud. I tent to stay on the “normal mode” when it comes to the three different sound levels. The lighting works just fine but I just turn it off. I’m real happy I got it. Loud enough for the screened porch. I also use it in the bathroom when I am in the shower. You won’t regret it, but I’d still say to try and get it on sale.

> 24 hourMuzens Cyber Shell Speaker is very nicely boxed and presented. The speaker itself is built like a metal brick and looks and feels robust and high-end. All of the buttons, knobs, and levers on the speaker move with a quality feel. It really is something that you need to see and touch in person to appreciate. With so many cheap Bluetooth speakers on the market this Muzen is a luxury option. The speaker is about the size of a yoga block and easy to carry around with its simple rectangular shape. It has some nice heft to it, and doesnt tip over easily. The speaker paired quickly and seamlessly with my iPhone 12 Mini running iOS 15. The connection is strong and I am able to walk a good distance from the speaker before the sound cuts out. The controls on the speaker for music playback and volume work well. Sound quality is quite good, especially considering the compact size of the speaker. Bass is strong, but not overpowering. Vocals are warm and distinct. There is a slight bit of muddiness to complex pop tracks, but it is not objectionable, and only makes itself known when the speaker is played very loud. Speaking of, it easily fills my 11 x 14 living room with music. The LED lights on the front are bright and fun. Battery life is quite good and it charges quickly via USB-C. All in all... a great speaker.

> 24 hourI have to be honest and admit that I only decided to test this speaker because it cost $300, and having never heard of the brand I was curious to see if it was legit. Yes. Yes, it is. Im not much of an audiophile, but I have a little hearing loss and a terrible case of tinnitus, so Im pretty demanding when it comes to speakers. I cant abide poor quality sound. The speaker I usually keep paired with my desktop is a Bose SoundLink Revolve II, a very capable speaker and a good all rounder, and... well, when playing anything even slightly rocky it sounds like trash compared to the Muzen Cyber Shell. Seriously, its the difference between a pair of excellent headphones and a $20 pair youd pick up from a bad market. It would be easy to pick on the bass as the biggest difference. My Bose speaker isnt built for bass. It doesnt offer much so it can sound a little tinny, while the Muzen is all about the bass. Switching from one to the other is night and day in terms of bass, but thats not where the differences end. The Muzen also offers a much more rounded experience across the board. Even with the heavy bass of rock mode the mids and highs are clear and rich. In normal mode the soundstage is astounding. Right now Im watching an episode of a TV show featuring a dinner party with piano in the background. While my Bose presents this instrument on a flat plane, coming from roughly the same location as the dialogue, the Muzen pushes the piano to the back of the room while the dialogue comes from the front, closer to the camera. The fact that my ears, ruined after a lifetime of listening to loud music, can pick up on this 3D awesomeness is impressive. OK, so for a portable speaker this thing is kinda heavy. Im not sure Id want to take it camping or carry it around in my bag all day, and I find the controls overdesigned and a little gimmicky, but I dont care. This is a truly impressive speaker. Usually after testing something like this it would go straight to the elephant graveyard of electronics that is my closet, but Im so impressed that Im packing away my Bose Revolve and making this my go to speaker for my desktop. Edited to add: after a few more days of using this as my main computer speaker I do have one minor gripe: when not in use the speaker goes to sleep after something like 15-20 minutes. Its not a huge deal, but if youre using it as I do with a device thats only producing sound sporadically it means turning the speaker back on and waiting for it to pair each time you want to use it. Since gaming is sold as one of the use cases for the speaker I imagine a lot of users would love to see a firmware update, if the technology allows, that would allow us to keep the speaker active as long as the battery holds out. Edit 2: After another week or two of the previous issue, occasionally when turning the speaker on it wont auto connect, and I have to do it manually. Again, not quite enough to cost the 5 star, but... guys, its getting close. Firmware update, please.

> 24 hourI was very interested in this speaker, so I decided to make a purchase once it was on sale. When I received it, I was impressed by the quality and the crisp sound it has, it also looks very cool. It also has very nice bass despite the size of the speaker. Unfortunately, I had to return the speaker because I believe mine was defective with the battery life. I had fully charged it and played continuous music until it showed low battery after approximately 3 hours, I tried this twice with both the same result after fully charging it. The advertised fully charged battery life says 10 hours which I was not able to replicate. This was the only reason I decided to return it, otherwise this speaker is really good and one of the better ones out there. I would also like to point out that the speaker is a one directional speaker, so dont expect other people to be able to hear it very well in the opposite directions at a distance. I was using the speaker at work in a warehouse (which is very noisy), I was able to hear the speaker loud and clear next to me, but others at a distance could not really hear it, and it was at max volume. Other different speakers that some had brought at work were able to be heard better since those were 360 degrees sound instead of the Cyber shells one direction sound. I did not test out the waterproof/resistance, so I cannot say if that claim is true or not. Overall, I do think this speaker is great for a gaming PC setup, just not for what I was trying to use it for. I would say the sound quality is better than most Bluetooth speakers its size. Either my speaker had a battery life defect, or the advertised 10 hours of continuous music is not true.

> 24 hourI absolutely love the muzen speaker line. I have purchased many of their early lines. Waiting desperately for the cyber shell to be released and let me say I was not let down. The controls and smooth and well machined. Its weight alone is a nice surprise. I for one do not enjoy buying items that feel overly light weight and flimsy. This is a solid device. The bass output will surprise the best for the size of these which true are not small. The bases are worth it. As long as you are not using auxiliary as my setup currently runs. The lighting effects are a solid piece to an overwhelming experience.
