> 3 dayGreat for putting practice in my backyard. I even use it on a temp course a group of us play and throw full shots at it. Portability aspect is a bit clunky but assembles and disassembles easily. I’ve only had it a couple of months so not sure of the longevity of the basket.

Greater than one weekI bought this as a Christmas gift last year for my fiancé. He uses it almost every day in our yard. It is easy even for me to take a part and to build, and it’s not to heavy for me to carry either. It travels great and doesn’t take up a lot of room when it is taken apart. After a year in our mountain town, I can say this is a great quality basket. This basket has been in the mud, snow, and rain as well as the summer heat and the freezing winter temps and still looks as great as they day we got it. This basket is so great that he asked for another one for Christmas this year so he can practice back and forth between the two. I’m very impressed with this basket, and he is definitely the envy of each tournament when he brings this out to warm up. I constantly have disc golfers asking where I found this basket for him, they all love it!

Greater than one weekWhen put together this basket is as good as any. Assembly is quick and easy. This is great to have for practice in the yard or to bring out somewhere that you can bring it for some good times with friends. The one and only downside is that it is a bit heavy and awkward to transport. Dont let that distract you from how great of a product this is. I would recommend this to any disc golfer who has a place that they can set it up for practice and some fun.

> 3 dayI was amazed at how easy the assembly was on these Black Holes! Had two baskets fully assembled in 10 minutes. A bunch of reviews noted shoddy packaging, but i believe they have now fixed this issue. Mine were packed very well. These babies catch discs great (caught a few 100 footers at high speed no problem) and have a standard size basket (unlike many portables that have a shallow basket from standard).

> 3 dayBest for the money! It is fantastic. Ordered on Dec. 26th 2016 Received on Jan 6th 2017 MVP (manufacturer) closed for the holidays. Seller, (Sun King Discs Sports) sent me a letter thanking me for the order, letting me know of the actual ship date, sticker and an Amazon coupon code. Great customer service by the seller. Packaging: Comes in marked and logoed MVP box. It would have been nice for unit to be wrapped in an additional outer box for extra protection and security. But everything was ok in shipping. Basket: Start with the round base. It is very sturdy and big enough for stable putting in the backyard. I will place mine on some concrete stepping stones just to keep it off the ground. The base also comes with ground spikes to further stabilize unit. All welds/paint look good. Lower pole: Lower pole screws into base. Simple, easy. Catch basket: Catch basket goes on top of lower pole. Catch basket is well made and sturdy. All welds/paint look good. Upper pole: Goes into lower pole with basket in-between. I have read reports of people filling the upper pole with foam sealant to deaden the sound. I will hold off (for now) as I like the rewarding banging chains. I may, however get some bright tape (electrician/duct/hunting) and place a strip on the upper pole as an aimpoint I have seen this done at local courses with automotive reflective tape. Top Rim: Professional looking top ring is what really sets this unit apart from all other home units on the market. Gives the unit a nice flair. Nice logo and graphics. Top Cap: Top cap installs above rim to hold everything together. Looking for a way I can add a dowel rod/pvc/pipe on top cap to hold a flag for windage. Hope MVP comes out with an accessory for a flag. Chains: Chains are nice zinc plated for non-permanent outdoor use. Nice feel and weight to the chains. Chains (inner or outer) are not removable unless you use two pairs of Vice-Grip to get s hook off. But why remove chains? Some people do ask that question. But, I bought this becouse of the double set of chains, just like the Profesional ones at the city park. Overall: A quality unit that will give years of use. I would recommend this brand/model to anyone looking for residential backyard practice (or fun). It will be nice to get guests into the sport with this unit. For me (male, 6ft tall 220 lbs) its not hard to move around. It comes apart easy if you want to put it in your car/auto trunk. However...unit may be to heavy for someone, that is where the folding type disc baskets would come in handy, as a space saver or lighter version. I plan to keep this covered with an bbq grill cover or under the patio when not in use, just to help keep it in great condition. Great job MVP, Sun King Discs and Amazon! Update: I did buy some thick, non-adhisive shelf liner (like tool box drawer liner) and wrapped the bottom half of the top pole with it. This gave the MVP Black Hole Pro a deeper tone when hit, got rid of the tinny sound. Also got some 1 1/2 to 1/2 pvc fitting and made a flag for the top so it now has a wind indicator.
