MVP Disc Sports Black Hole Pro HD 24-Chain Portable Disc Golf Basket Target

This Disk Golf basket is fantastic. Shipped in a box within a box. All items were serial bagged and were all wire tied together to keep them from moving around while in transit... Arrived 2 days earlier than initial estimate. Assembled this in under 10 minutes... Very nearly as solid as professional course baskets. Chains are perfect weight and react same as professional baskets... Still, overall unit weight of light enough to be moved around the yard easily enough. Totally happy with my purchase.

My husband was thrilled when this came in! It’s much sturdier than the other portable baskets we have, and he’s now eager to replaced the others with more Black Hole Pro HD baskets. Easy to assemble, comparable sizing to course baskets, and the sound of the chains is so bright and crisp! Highly recommend.

This is a great basket, and its going to work great for my home course. I have several 14-chain (single ring) portable baskets that are about 6 years old and are fine, but you do get a lot of blow-throughs. I also have a Dynamic Discs Patriot basket (26 chains, 13 outer/13 inner), but thats a beast to move around. Whats great about the HD Pro is that its got enough chains to catch well, but has the basket w/ the steeper sides, similar to the higher end professional course baskets. Im giving this a 4 because of the packaging - the basket is packaged at the factory w/ no cardboard or other protection between the basket and the chain support, and so the powder coating on the top of the chain support is damaged in a couple of spots, which will result in corrosion sooner than later. Recommend to MVP Sports that they make a slight tweak to their packaging to prevent this.

Catches discs like a pro.

I was skeptical but this plays identically to a real course basket. Heavy duty chains catch the disk and make that sound we all love. Solid construction all around with good quality welds. Heavy enough to use without stakes but light enough to move when needed. Takes two minutes to set up or take apart. Mine arrived in perfect condition. Well worth the money.

This is the perfect practice basket! Feels super sturdy, but its not too heavy to move around the backyard for one person. That oh so satisfying chiiiing is nice too.

Easy to put together, no rust or damage. The only complaint I have so far is that the basket top isnt level when assembled correctly. This causes one side of the basket to be slightly less open. This is probably just a problem with the one I got. I will be able to fix it with a grinder and some washers, but dont feel like I should have to.

We got this for my husband for an early Fathers Day gift and he LOVES it! Says its great for practicing in the back yard. Its sturdy, easy to assemble, easy to move around the yard, lasting thru rain and does fall over during storms. Hes now retired and spends hours out in the yard practicing. Great affordable baske for disc golf :)

Great basket. Hard pressed to find one better for this much money...
