Greater than one weekThese are not the same pencils of years ago. The wood is apparently cheap scrap wood and the lead leaves tiny chips when writing. Also, the sharpener is completely worthless. It just bites into the wood and gouges out chunks instead of sharpening. The plastic is cheap and bends easily. This is not to mention the mess it makes with the few shavings it does manage to take off the pencils. I resorted to sharpening with a pocket knife. Since the lead is not very good quality, I now just use the pencils for making marks on things that dont really matter. I should just throw them away to keep from cluttering up my junk drawer. I would not recommend these pencils at all. Spent a little more money and get some better quality ones.
