N64 Controller Extension Cable Cord for Nintendo 64 N64 Controller 2 PACK 6 Feet

Husband ask for a Nintendo 64 for Christmas and needed the extenders for his controllers to sit comfortably on the couch. They work perfectly and a great price. I would order these again.

I ordered the two pack to try them out in my RetroSpy adapters produced for the Nintendo 64. My old supplier doesnt carry them anymore, and beyond that, they had recently raised their price and cut into my already tight margins. Theres not a whole lot to talk about considering the nature of these extneions, but I have a few thoughts: First and foremost, these are wired utilizing the *correct* color coding with the wires. Yes, the black wire is ground. I have worked with many different cables for various things over the years, and it has always surprised me how so many are wired in a way that doesnt pay any heed to the color of the wire and the ubiquitous formal and informal standardizations. When red is signal and black is +5V, you know theres going to be issues and things will release the magic smoke way before their time. It is not the case here, and that is a huge selling point for me. The wire gauge and insulation, as well as the rubber cable insulation is of a sufficient size and quality, and I expect them to last a while. The connectors are tight enough without being too difficult to insert and remove from the necessary items. There were no weak connections, and no reason to surmise from the quality of materials that it would happen over time. All in all, I am totally satisfied that these are on a short list to become a replacement SKU. It will all come down to bulk pricing from here... Recommended to anyone needing additional length for their controllers or for use in a project that needs N64 controller connectors.

I recently bought an N64 for the family to enjoy playing retro games together. I needed extensions though and was excited to find this really great set. They are long enough, work excellent with no lag with both original and after market controllers, and seem sturdy enough. Im really happy with this set.

Having a setup made for streaming and recording game footage can sometimes leave you close-quarters with expensive equipment. Having these extension cords allowed for minimal stress as any player can sit a comfortable distance around any equipment and have a great gaming experience. Inputs were perfect. Works great.

In the age of wireless controllers, this extender is great for allowing me to sit further away from the TV and still play the classic N64

The product itself is awesome and works great! No more hunching forward being restrained by the regular length of the controller. I can now relax and play. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is the shipping took insanely long. Upon arrival there was no packing list or documentation included about the order, no biggie. Again, the product itself is great.

After having some bad experiences with other n64 extension cords Im happy to say these work brilliantly. They read the rumble pak, the transfer pak, and the memory card. I have nothing bad to say, they do what they are supposed to do.

Bought this because our bed is kind of far from the game system and now the controller reaches perfectly.

They worked exactly as described. I am very happy with my purchase.
