This product seemed great when I got it. I bought it to use on a painted steel pipe shelf to protect it from getting scratched up. When I first applied it it seemed to stick great… the next day it was all peeling up and the rubber was separated from the adhesive backing. This product would probably do great on a long flat smooth surface. But the adhesive quality isn’t enough to keep it stuck to a curved surface.

Decent rubber but not good for fuel. Not sure I would trust it with oils either.

Ive hoarded a small roll of this material retrieved from a workshop trash bin and was delighted to find it available for purchase online. I have used it for gaskets, waterproof pads for underneath appliances, vibration attenuaters on electronic devices, shrouds around gaps between ceiling and ceiling fan connections, etc, etc. Useful for all sorts of things where a pliable strip of rubber is needed. Intend to add several different sizes to my just in case kit.

I purchased this rubber strip to use as a barrier between the metal base of my greenhouse and the pressure treated wood foundation. It was a perfect fit for the application.

The product arrived quickly and was just as advertised. The rubber sheet was rolled up and a little stiff when trying to unroll it to cut it. Unrolling it causes the backing paper to seperate from the adhesive side but can be reapplied when laying the sheet out flat.
