> 3 daywe used the mat to make a valve cover gasket for the lawnmower. As stated in the description of the product that’s what it could be used for. After letting it set up for 3 days within one hour of mowing the “gasket” did not withstand the heat and the oil was pouring out of the valve cover. Edited to say: While the product did not work for us , the customer service has been “Top Notch”! They have gone above and beyond to make us happy by refunding our purchase price and keeping in constant contact to make sure we received it and we satisfied. Their sincere apologies went a long way with us and we appreciate that!

I used it to cut and place between mounting 2x6 boards and my basement ceiling (1st floor, floor joists) for my heavy bag. Using my bag caused the whole house to shake. With the rubber between the joists and boards and between the black pipe I used to run the bag on (5ft to slide out to use and store against the wall), it reduced the noise and shake enough so I can use the bag at night and early morning without waking up kids or partner. Recommend.

Neoprene Rubber Sheets, Rolls & Strips
1. Neoprene Rubber has high tensile strength, excellent heat resistance, light resistance, aging resistance and its oil resistance, which is better than natural rubber.
2. Neoprene Rubber has a wide range of uses, such as making transportation belts and transmission belts, covering materials for wires and cables, making oil-resistant hoses, gaskets, and chemical-resistant equipment.
3. The neoprene rubber strips (rolls) itself has a light smell. Just leave the rubber outside for 1-3 days and the smell will disappear.
