This is an excellent keyboard, and the tactile feeling and response is first rate. However, the only thing I really dont like is the backlight for the keyboard. Its not bright enough to be useful and just bright enough to be annoying. I am not the best touch typist and sometimes do have to hunt and peck a bit. So, when I do need to glance down at the keyboard, having the keys illuminated brightly and clearly does help. The printing on the keycaps is also somewhat subdued, which also makes the letters, numbers and symbols a little hard to see. If you are a good touch typist, though, this thing should please you to no end.

Keyboard went Johnny 5, and became incorrectly responsive. had to disconnect, and I now use a a hammer in situations that require a hammer.

Typing on this now.. Im kind of old school hunt/peck type of developer. Appreciate the click and travel of the keyboard. After my logitech, which was a lot softer, died decided to upgrade to a more quality keyboard. I guess this is promoted as a gaming style keyboard but works great for my non-gaming purposes. I like the retro-look as well. Colors are fun but not a requirement. Would recommend though it is kind of pricey but in between the high end keyboards (which I considered) and the budget keyboards which I use frequently.

This keyboard is amazing, the clicking sound is satisfying and the reaction time is quick! 10/10 would recommend.

I have really enjoyed using this keyboard. I put together a retro-style setup for my office, and have really enjoyed this keyboard so far! Its as close as Ive ever come to the old IBM keyboard. I love that it can be customized with the orange keycaps too. It is very high quality all around, and I have no performance issues so far. I am not 100% sold on the switches, although they are a nice blue clicky switch, and my only complaint is that its not a hot-swappable board. For the price, though, its still a great value and definitely looks and sounds the part of a retro keyboard!

Easy to setup and I love all teh modes and colors. Keep the littel booklet that comes with it in case you forget how to turn rgb on and off as well as all the modes.

Keyboard is not repairable, has all sorts of custom garbage / locked down screws.

Mechanical keyboards are a popular choice for gamers, programmers, and anyone who spends a lot of time typing. These keyboards offer several advantages over traditional membrane keyboards, including increased durability, tactile feedback, and faster response times. One of the key benefits of a mechanical keyboard is its durability. Mechanical switches are built to withstand millions of keystrokes, making them a great option for people who use their keyboard frequently or for long periods of time. The switches are also easy to replace, which means that you can replace individual keys or switches rather than having to buy a whole new keyboard. Another advantage of mechanical keyboards is their tactile feedback. When you press a key on a mechanical keyboard, you can feel a distinct physical click or bump, which provides feedback and helps you type more accurately. This tactile feedback is especially helpful for gamers who need to make split-second decisions or for programmers who need to type quickly and accurately. Mechanical keyboards also have faster response times compared to membrane keyboards. This is because each key has its own mechanical switch, which registers keystrokes faster than the rubber domes used in membrane keyboards. This faster response time can be especially important for gamers or anyone who needs to type quickly and accurately. Overall, a mechanical keyboard is a great investment for anyone who spends a lot of time typing or gaming. The durability, tactile feedback, and faster response times make it a more efficient and enjoyable experience compared to a traditional membrane keyboard. With a wide range of options available, including different switch types and designs, there is a mechanical keyboard out there to suit every need and preference.
