> 3 dayI bought this for my 6 year old that is in a high back 5 point harnessed car seat for our long trip from up North to Florida & it wasn’t as I was hoping for. The piece that goes across the forehead only comes down to the middle of the headrest before it stops & wont go down any lower. When my daughter falls asleep her chin always hits her chest & wakes up with a sore neck. I was hoping this would catch her head & stop that but it doesn’t. Since it doesn’t come down any further than the middle her head slips right under it & onto her chest completely not helping or changing the situation. I’m bummed because I was so excited to have this & it’s useless & now sits in our closet. I personally wouldn’t recommend this. It’s made very well, good quality, just doesn’t work like I was hoping!

> 3 dayThis has been a game changer for my son (3) who completely collapses when he falls asleep in the car (in a diono car seat). I no longer have to worry that he won’t breathe because he’s practically in half. You do have to make sure it’s a snug enough fit and positioned correctly for it to work correctly. If it’s too high it won’t keep their head upright enough. Very pleased with the purchase and thrilled that it’s accident tested and can unattach if the force is strong enough. We bought one for my daughter too (5 in a Britax car seat) and it didn’t work for her. She didn’t like that it comes in around the sides of her head all the times so we had to return hers

> 3 dayI was looking so forward to this product, as anytime my daughter falls asleep in the car, her head falls forward and it looks so uncomfortable and feels like it would be hard to breathe. After reading so many reviews, I decided to go with the most expensive product thinking it’s going to be the best and I will not have to return it. But unfortunately, it’s actually so faulty! First of all, you need to take your whole car seat out in order to be able to install this - but I said ok, this can only mean it’s going to be perfect. After the heardrest was installed, and I had my daughter in the car seat, i realized there is a huge gap in between the part that comes down and her head. No matter how Much I adjusted the Velcro parts( that make sooo much noise when you open it & would wake her up every time), her head would still fall forward because dog this big space gap. I had to return it & buy a $10 one that actually works sooo much better!

> 3 dayUpdate: In a matter of time it is useless. The snaps no longer stay on at all, so its constantly being flung off and stepped on. PLEASE Come up with a way for the visor part to stay attached a bit better. Even Velcro that is on a disc that can move/slide but would be great. Not sure what the safety requirements are for it to be able to come off so easily, but since it does, we dont use it. My daughters got tired of reattaching it several times a car ride. My son loves it and I LOVE that he is comfortable when he sleeps in the car, which he does a lot. The sides of the visor part are attached with snaps - like push snap/buttons and they detach ALL THE TIME. Thats frustrating. I always have to have his sister reach over and reattach them. We will continue to use it and I will recommend it to others but hopefully I can find a way to keep them attached.

> 3 dayIf you have a forward facing child youve struggled with their car ride naps and I cant believe they dont have something thats built-in or standard to help but they dont. Enter the NapUp, so necessary if your child likes to sleep during car rides (who doesnt?). Easy to install, easy to use, and looks pretty comfy. My 2 year old even knows to pull it down to sleep.

> 3 dayWe use this for our son with PMG and he doesn’t have a lot of head control. This works so good to support his head while he eats. 10/10 would recommend to everyone

> 3 dayIt’s not durable with my son. It doesn’t keep his head in place. For this price it’s not worth it. I bought the stretchy on instead for less than $10 it works great.

> 3 dayI was really excited about this, but there are some flaws that made it not a great fit for us. One, the strap that goes across her forehead is easily removed so she pulls it off on her own over and over, thus making it not available when its time to pull it down for a sleep. Two - no matter how I adjusted it, her head kept slipping out. Shes really tall, so if anything she should have been able to use it easier, but it was always a bit too high despite following the instructions. All that said, if you CAN get it to work, its nicely made and a good idea, but it doesnt seem to really work.

Greater than one weekThis was a great buy. We use it on a 2016 Clek Foonf. We were on two road trips over the past 6 weeks and it was a fantastic way for our small 3 year old to nap in the car. It definitely took him a bit to get used to, but eventually he learned how to do it himself. Until today. He used it inappropriately. See photo. I freaked out and had to pull over to make sure he was breathing okay. I totally get why he did it, it looks way more comfortable than the intended method of use, but scary nonetheless.
