This was a Christmas gift for my son whos 8. Hes used them a few times and is doing better then I expected. He really likes the light up wheels. Theyre not too hard to get on but I did notice that the foot liner/padding came out when he took his foot out the other day so it doesnt appear that the liner/padding is secured to the bottom very well. Other then that, A+
