Love this! Ive been drinking this protein powder for years and love it. Though I do occasionally sneak in a little chocolate syrup to bump up the flavor :)

I have been buying NaturesPlus SPIRU-TEIN for YEARS. There is something wrong with this particular item that I bought. It tastes very different and leaves a very strong chlorine-like aftertaste. There was one thin perforated plastic strip holding the screw-on top lid. Inside the lid, there was NO seal. It is also non-refundable. I discarded this and bought the smaller tin box from Walmart and tried it and it tastes fine just like normal. I dont know if the batch is just BAD, or if its spoiled because of the lack of a seal, or if theyre just selling some brown powder thrown into an old spirutein box.

I have been taking Spirutein since the 1970s and liked it very much. The flavor was great and it was almost like taking a chocolate shake! Spirulina has terrific health benefits and if you do a search you will find many including that it is the astronauts health secret to survive well in space! Bee pollen is also good. There is a smattering of other nutrients in it that would be best if taken in whole food form but this is the next best and not too much bad to do harm. Id rather have cane sugar or plain sugar over any other sweetener. The Dutch cocoa is good. But over the years the recipe and the flavor has changed and not always for the better. I think the owners of the company may have changed, too. They should not always listen to so-called health experts that keep declaring some things are not healthy. Fructose went from good to bad to worse when they used corn syrup to make it. Thank goodness they removed Stevia! I even stopped purchasing it for a few years when the taste was awful and I let the company know! And the company listened and changed it back. This seller is very good and the product arrives quickly. But now the last batch I purchased last year tasted awful, made us nauseated. It tasted like it had silicone in it or bleach or something. And it stunk. Are they trying to make more profits or is it just that the cost of quality ingredients keeps rising? Im beginning to believe its not best to purchase in a bulk form even though it is a better price. I missed it and the healthy feeling we got from it so purchased a few packets of it at the local health food store today and it tasted and smelled just fine. So I cant support this size of the product. I hope I can do that soon as all of my family like Spirutein and take it and feel better for it. It is a great addition to our natural health lifestyle.

Ive used this for years, but this time it arrived packaged differently. It use to come in fully wrapped plastic plus a freshness seal. This time, it was just in a box, and it smells a little off.

Cant recommend enough! Great taste, great value, great nutritional content. Helped me lose 20 lbs (in conjunction with exercise and other dietary changes)

This was the old, original formula. Not the newer formula which I dont like at all. I want to add that I purchased and received this order in July 2016. The label shown online today still shows the old list of ingredients without ogliofructose. Hopefully, that is correct and what people will receive. If I re-order based on the label shown with this item and the product delivered has the new sweetener, I will have to return it.

I mix this in a small blender with soy milk in the morning for breakfast. It is smooth, tastes great and keeps me satisfied a long time.
