The dev vil is in the details. The edge seam all around the umbrella has this extra protection fold - this takes care of one of the top problems with umbrellas. Opening and closing action is very smooth. That nautica sign on the umbrella is done very, very well. Its there in a classy, unobtrusive way. You can kind of tell that its there without shouting hey look at me!. Very well done. 6* if I could.

These umbrellas are flimsy. The metal stick portion shakes even when just adjusting the umbrella and upon opening. I dont see these lasting very long. I could have gotten a better umbrella at dollar tree. Not worth the price paid. My childrens umbrellas are so much more sturdy.

Push-button open, manual pull down to close. Umbrella material is not any more water-resistant than the average umbrella. Did not dry unusually quickly as the listing implies. When open, my umbrella measured 40, just enough coverage to keep me dry. Holding my arm in a comfortable position (at a right angle at the elbow), my head was touching the ribs. Distance from end of handle to bottom of ribs is about 20. Overall, this works but is an average-sized compact umbrella. This just provides me with enough cover to keep me dry (Im 510). Personally, Id prefer something larger.
