Really cute set for introducing needle felting. My 10 and 6 year old were both able to make adorable cats with this kit. Mine looked more like a pug (ha!). Highly recommend.

I had never even heard of needle felting before buying this kit. It provided hours of fun keeping me sane while recovering from surgery. While my cats don’t look exactly like the picture they are all very cute and I am super excited to have learned how to do a new craft. I’m obsessed! I also thought it was a great value for the price. Yay for learning something new!

I definitely pricked myself a few times. TAKE YOUR TIME. It may not look perfect, but it’s a decent kit for beginners. I think it’s cute, but it takes practice to get it to look as neat as the product picture. Overall I think it’s worth the buy.

Instructions hard to follow

I ordered 2 of these kits, one for me and one for my daughter. Overall, I very much enjoyed the kit and it produced what was promised. Each character kit is individually wrapped inside the box so nothing gets mixed up or confused and I had plenty of fleece left over. My only complaints are the instructions, which dont give specific amounts or how to start a shape. I had to watch a few videos to figure it out. The other complaint is that the finger guards are a little bit small. Being a beginner to needle felting myself, I think this is a great kit for beginners and the box it comes in is gorgeous, so it can be easily gifted. I honestly think its worth it if youre wanting to give needle felting a try without commitment.

Ive made the first two kitties (pictured) but I omitted the legs for the grey tabby. Instructions are clear & relatively easy to follow. Each cat has a QR code that lead to a video showing the steps as well. The more cats you do, the easier it becomes. The only complaint I have is that its hard to gauge what size each part should be, including the body. I feel like Im making them too big - but it matches the size in the videos - because the eyes are much smaller in the kit than in the photos. Im worried that means Ill run out of the wool for the rest of the kitties. Overall though, it was a nice trial for me to decide if I want to keep pursuing felting (which I think I will!). Plus now I get cute felted kitties to work my bookshelves.
