Good quality, decent price

I like 99% of everything about the kit its is exactly what I expected when it comes to the tools. The 1 and only thing I dont like about it is, the cheaply made latches that hold the case closed. They look good but you can feel the quality of material just isnt there and are the only reason I have it 4/5 stars in durability. But yes, I would buy this set again, and recommend it.

Very good durability, just wished they included more deep well sizes. But they dont round the bolt heads like most cheaper sockets Ive used.

I wonder who was the genius who designed this set? Putting a 9mm socket in 3/8 and not including the most used of all 10mm in 3/8... is an idiotic idea!

It arrived as new but some of the sockets were scuffed and had a few dings and raised unpolished, non painted areas. It doesnt look like the picture on Amazon. The inside of the sockets are nicely polished so its just the outside of the sockets. Since the inside of the sockets were pristine, not scuffed, and polished, I know it was not used. Just lack of exterior cosmetic quality. The engraved sizes on the sockets are hard to read but on the case, the size of the sockets are molded above their slots. Thats a nice feature. I plan to use a white-out pen to paint in the engraved markings. This set has all the sizes from 5/16 to 1 1/4 SAE and 8-22 mm, 24,27 & 32 mm except 20 mm. For some, you need to use the SAE or MM equivalent and either a short or deep socket for the size you need. The equivalent sockets are 8mm for 5/16, 16mm for 5/8, 24mm for 15/16, 3/4 for 19mm, 7/8 for 22mm, 1 1/16 for 27mm and 1 1/4 for 32mm. Those sockets cover both sizes along with 7/16 - 11mmn which you are given both sockets. All of the deep sockets are 1/2. If you are using a impact driver, youll need to have at least a hex to 1/2 adapter as it comes with a 1/2 to 3/8 adapter so that you can use the 3/8 sockets with your own hex to 1/2 adapter. The case holds the sockets nicely with a thin foam pad inside. Youll might want to take up some space inside with an additional card board if you feel its too loose or rattles too much. The hinge and latches are just plastic strips. With opening and closing of the case, the plastic hinge and latches will eventually split but other than that, the case is solid and stands upright firmly. Just make sure you open the case while laying it flat with the latches swinging upwards to open otherwise itll be upside down and out comes the sockets. I havent used the set yet but the sockets are thick walled and 6 points and should stand up to the impact forces. I didnt see it on Amazon but the outside packaging stated AIR impact sockets so it made for pneumatic use. I hope it performs well and dont rust from the rough spots otherwise Ill update my review after use. If it was cosmetically pristine as it should be for a new quality item, I would have given it 5. stars. Or maybe Ill return it for an exchange..
