Nelson 855714-1001 Industrial Double-Male Brass Pipe and Hose Fitting for Connecting to 3/4-Inch, Female,Gold

I bought this to pump water out of barrels in my basement and it was very weak and slow... It took an hour to empty a 50 gal barrel, so I guess it would be ok for small household jobs, but is not nearly strong enough for what I intended it for. It seems to be well built. (Review is for the water pump, not the silly fitting...LOL)

The pumps is a lot quieter that I thought it would be. After making sure the fittings were secure the pump worked great.

Works as a male/male adapter to connect to female inside thread Of regular garden hose to 3/4 inch female inside threaded foot valve. I used it on a sump pump to suck out water from a pool observation pipe that was 8 ft deep.
