I gave these to my great nephew, along with a Nerf gun, for Christmas. They are well-made and durable.

Now if the kids would just stop shooting ME with them. Avoid the temptation to buy the huge packs of bullets, this is more than enough and they will spend more of their time picking them up from around the house and backyard :)

Good quality. I ordered this as additional, just in case the guns I ordered did not have enough. My cats got a hold of some, and besides the teeth Marks they left, they are still working great. Recommend ordering the extra.

These darts work OK, but wear out after a while and start jamming in the guns. I guess theres no way to avoid that. They have to be soft so they dont hurt, but the softness means they eventually flatten and mush with time and wear.

Be ready for a lot of frustration if you get this for a kid. The darts shred after just a few firings. They get bent up, torn and deformed just from cycling through the action. n We hardly used the guns these came in and out of a 12 rd magazine, sometimes youre lucky to get 5 or so darts off. They jam up or just fall out the end of the barrel. Its tough to rack the slide on the gun too for a kid. Your kid will be handing you the thing every other shot to clear it for him. I thought a pack of new darts would help as the original darts were getting old but they go to junk with just a few firings.

This past Christmas with the in-laws we all had a bit of fun. My wifes brother and his wife could not be with everyone else so we go them toy dart guns and some for us from the $5 store in Michigan (I forget what the chain is called). I tested out mine and was not happy. So I cheated and bought a Nerf gun and these darts. They fly very well: accurate at 10-20 or more, fast, and give someone a nice thump to let them know I got them :p One warning: I know it is tempting to aim for the face. But these guys hurt. If you are moving around a lot or aiming for the face get some basic eye protection (even just sun glasses). They can hurt. My wife took a dart to the eye and it was sore for a day or so.
