This nerf gun is geared more for your 1st grader than you 4th grader. It works well, but its kind of cheesy. It took us a while to figure out how to load it but once we did it worked well and our 7 year old could load it herself.

My boys now have all the Dino Nerf guns. And it sucks. Im so sick of sucking nerf darts up in the vacuum. I found one in my pants leg at work the other day. Anywho. This is really cool and my boys ages 3 to 15 have all had a good time with it.

I purchased the Dino squad for my 11-year-old grandson. I was afraid it might be too juvenile for him. He loved it and so did his 5 year old brother.

This dinosaur themed blaster is both very fun to look at, and very fun to use. The age recommendation for this is 8 and up, however, I think that almost anyone old enough to hold the thing will have a blast using it. At the current price of around $32 for the blaster and 16 darts, it’s reasonably priced and well worth the cost, especially when giving as a gift. The design of this is obviously dinosaur inspired, however, I wouldn’t have known it was supposed to be an Anklyosaurus if it wasn’t listed in the product information. If you’re planning to get this for someone who is a real stickler for dinosaur accuracy, it might not be exactly what they want, but for most people, it’s just a cool concept. This blaster uses Nerf Elite darts, which are, thankfully, very affordable. Additionally, there are generic darts available from other brands that will work with this as well. Nerf offers packs of 50 for under $8 and generics are available in packs of 200 for around $12. Overall, I would highly recommend this toy to anyone who is a dinosaur lover, both kids and adults. It’s a lot of fun to play with, looks unique, and is reasonably priced.

Easy enough of a pull trigger for a 4 year old to use! Most nerf guns are hard to lock back, but this one is great for a small child.

Bought this for my grandsons birthday. What I got was in a plain brown box, not new in Nerf packaging. I paid for new! This was probable a repackaged return? Did not have time to send it back, time will tell if it works or not. A big part of the fun is the eye catching packaging.

Toy arrived in a plain brown box, no original packaging. Its a gift for grandson. Very disappointed.
