Its alot lighter then the 6D batteries it replaced. The rate of fire is hard to gage because I dont want to buy new D cells to test it against. But it does appear to have a high rate of fire. Being rechargeable is a huge money saver. We do alot of Nerf wars.

I dont own a Khaos, but having used this pack in my Nemesis, I can definitively say that this was definitely a solid investment. As I said in my Nemesis review, the rechargeable battery pack both increases blaster performance without modding, and saves money one would normally be blowing on D batteries. Not to mention no worrying about safe disposal! Definitely a solid investment for an avid Nerf nerd.

I put this on my Rival nemisis, this basically goes for the price that you would pay for 3 Recharges of batteries, so its well worth it. Not only that there is a significant fire rate increase, and FPS increase without having to do any internal modifications. Its well worth the price unless you plan on rewiring everything and using a LiPo.

Totally essential for the Khaos, the power is anemic at best with D cells at full power, and they drain quick, and are expensive. This thing totally woke the gun up. Now auto fire actually hits hard, isnt strained, higher rate of fire, better fps. Glad I got it. There is a youtube review that shows the difference. Id recommend looking it up. Oh, and it weighs NOTHING, takes like 3-4 lbs off the gun.

I had done a bunch of research on the Automatic (battery operated) Nerf Rival guns. What surprised me was that most of the reviewers said to get this battery pack because of the longer life span compared to batteries (batteries would be expensive too) and that this pack would make the gun lighter. I needed to hunt for something that would make the guns lighter for two of my grandsons for Christmas & this battery pack did the trick. CAUTION: I had to charge the pack before wrapping because they dont come charged. I took almost 2 hours to charge.

I am using it in a Nerf Nemesis. It is much lighter than using 6 D batteries and much convinient. Also, shoots a bit harder with the battery pack, but not with much.

For those who want a bit more power out of their Khaos, without going through the process of modding it to take a LiPo, this battery is definitely worth checking out. From my own testing: Rev up time was reduced by 3/4 of a second. +13 fps gained And +2 balls per second for a total of 5 balls per second, compared to 3 with stock batteries. Not only are these benefits nice, but the battery also reduces the weight by nearly 3 lbs. The price may be a bit high, but if you Nerf often and like to rev your blasters a bunch, this will cut down the price of D batteries, and get rid of some of that waste. Very cool product, and its 100% Nerf official!

This rechargeable battery pack is compatible with a number of Nerf Rival blasters, including the Hera and Nemesis, the two I have used it with. Given that the Hera takes 6 C size batteries, and the Nemesis takes 6 D size batteries, this battery pack starts to pay for itself after the first couple charging cycles. Not only does it improve your pocketbook over the long term, it also yields slightly higher muzzle velocity (less 10 FPS higher than the regular batteries), and in the case of the Nemesis (it is full-auto while the Hera is semi-auto), a slightly higher rate of fire. The biggest improvement of this battery pack is the weight. It weighs in at about half the weight of its regular battery tray counterparts. Whether you are buying for a child or adult, this is an incredible improvement that will greatly increase the quality of your game. I cannot stress enough how much better the blaster feels in your hands with the extra weight taken off. This pack is a reasonable price at $30. I bought it at $15. Absolutely recommend.

It is very loud and quite annoying. Works well though if you can handle the noise.

The price is right for what you get. A rechargeable battery pack for your powered rival blasters. No more expensive, low energy, low charge D cell batteries that die 30 minutes into your nerf war. In addition to being rechargeable, the battery pack also slightly increased the performance. If you don’t have one in your Nemesis, get one NOW!
