    this product was a piece of junk, that or i dont know how to use it. i hooked it all up and plugged in my computer and my ps3 and found when i went to get on line it would only run one or the other, not so big a deal, but when i wanted to use the other device i had to unplug the one and plug the other back in. waste of money, spend the $30 bucks more and get the Linksys wrt5GL, that pays off.

    I thought this product would allow me to run my X-Box 360 and Laptop on the internet so that I could stream movies from Netflix. It is the most un-useful product ive bought inthe last 5 years! You need a router to run the setup that I require. There need to be more info. on such products so that first time users do not WASTE THERE MONEY. Also there is a long standing policy about electronics that if it is open It cannot be returned So I am out $ 25.00 on this product. Im just lucky I dint buy a more expensive product!

    Im very happy with my purchase of this NETGEAR ProSAFE 5-Port Fast Ethernet Desktop Switch (FS105). I wanted to be able to stop my laptop from connecting to the wireless router, because of concerns about the possible effects of electro-magnetic fields on health. It has been functioning perfectly, my internet speeds are much better, and Im actually having fewer headaches for the first time in years. I just dont think wireless energy can be doing anything good for our health, and I personally believe returning to using cables on your devices for internet access can protect my health. This little device allows you to connect multiple machines, and eliminate your exposure to to the potentially harmful energy from using wireless connections.

    Simple Setup and Stellar Performance
    Plug in your Ethernet cables and connect a power cord, and you"re ready to go. There is no software to install or settings to configure. The switch features auto negotiation, which automatically obtains the fastest possible connection, and Auto Uplink takes care of the MDI/MDI-X connection. There are no toggle switches or special crossover cables. If your network has existing 10BASE-T devices, they will work seamlessly within a higher bandwidth environment with each port achieving its full speed.
