> 3 dayFor brooms and rakes with smooth handles you may have to place them upside down into hooks as the Vendors photos depict, to keep items from sliding out. These hooks seems to need a rough surface or protrusion to keep items in place.

> 3 dayIve been working on clearing out, cleaning, & organizing my garage after finally getting it to myself after 3 men ran thru it. Ive tried a multitude of different hooks of all kinds/styles. I like these because they are double pronged, use 2 heavy duty screws, & Im comfortable using them even when a stud is not available. They are coated with a rough, non slip rubber. The roughness reassures me that slippage is less likely to happen should they get wet from water, oil, etc accidentally. The different sizes & styles are great for the # of different items I have to hang up. This set has a hook for everything, especially my heavier items.

> 3 dayTried a myriad of garage tools. Holds my kids tools and thats about it. Was hoping that I could swap directions for many of my tools to save space -- if the shovel head was down, the shovel is coming down, the weight dragged the rubber ring down and never locks (rubber keeps slowly spinning). Keeping the shovel with the head up, works... But then you have to have a protrusion for it to stop otherwise itll slide off also (the heads usually do), but then all the tools widest parts are at the same level eliminating the main benefit of this (condensing). Same thing happened with lighter weight tools as well.
