I use this on everything on my cars and have never had trouble taking it apart later. Works great on brake hardware where there is a lot of heat. Heck I even use it for anti noise lube on brake pads and it lasts way longer that Sil Glyde and it doesnt attract dust. No I would recommend lubing brake guide pins with it since Sil Glyde works best for that but I bet it would work fine for that application if you were in a bind. Im an aircraft mech and this is used on a lot of applications on the airplanes that I work on. The copper C5A is good stuff but this stuff blows it away hands down. I wont use anything else on my personal equipment.

its not silver in color. more like black.

I always use this to make sure nuts come off!

have used before it prevents nuts and bolts from locking up and having to be drilled out.currently using on fishing reels
