New dragy 10Hz GPS Based Performance Meter, 10Hz GPS Laptimer (DRG70)

Received in a original Amazon box, open the box,small brown box, open the small brown box. A nice perfectly sealed white dragy box. Opened the dragy box. Instead of the dragy. A dam piece of black clay. Im waiting for a refund.

Dragy is worth its weight in gold. It only takes a few trips to the local drag strip to exceed the cost of Dragy in track fees, plus you can get in so many more runs with Dragy than you could ever hope to get at the track. Oh, wait, I only make speed runs at the track. ;)

I will qualify this review by saying I havent validated my times with another source, i.e. drag strip, etc. but based on what I think I should be getting from published data, this thing is accurate. Super easy and safe to use and a lot of fun! You cant beat the price either!

Dont waste your money until they fix the battery issues, I should have checked the reviews first. As several others have said brand new units dont hold a charge. I fully charge this unit said 100% went out and after just 10 min device cannot lock on satellites due to low battery was showing 10%. For this much money I expect it to last at least a few hours of the advertised up to 10 hours. Oh wait maybe the description is actually wrong it says the battery last up to 10 hours maybe it should have said up to 10 minutes since that is actually what it lasted for me.

I bought this Dragy unit because it appears to be a quality built item and the 10hz GPS capability. Upon receiving this, it quickly became apparent that Dragy has locked this device to their own software and it will not work with other apps. The Dragy is great if you street race or drag race and the app seems to be nice and its capabilities for that purpose seem quite nice. If you race other disciplines like I do, you are going to need a GPS unit that works with other apps. Also, I did not appreciate my first $149 Dragy experience to be a time locked advertisement in their app. I would be curious to know what information this app sends home. Testing the unit, It indeed works well for its intended purpose through its proprietary app.

Dragy works great! Don’t buy from this company though. They didn’t pay the full shipping price, so I had to pay it when I went to pick it up.

For the money, you cannot beat it! The information obtained and user friendly interface alone is with the money.

This is the best device to help drag strip racing and getting accurate data. The perfect gift for my husband!

This thing is fantastic for ‘automagic’ and precise 0-60 and other car timing. I tried iPhone ‘app only’ apps first, but this is SO much better. It’s tiny and even magnetic, so can stick to my roof. Very easy to use and the app that workd with it is great too. Appears to be very accurate too.
