I went on the Dell website to buy a new charger for my Alienware R2 and they were trying to make me pay over $100.... I’ve purchased two of these since then and they’ve lasted me forever while my original Dell charger broke after just a year of owning. Just be careful about bending the cord where you plug it into the laptop because it will become loose (just like any other laptop charger). It’s definitely worth the money and my games run well with this plugged in.

Im not an expert on any of this, I got the part because my computer told me to. My computer still tells me to get the part the only difference now is the computer works after it tells me that, whereas before it didnt.. there would be the message and no way to continue, so now at least I can continue for that I say it works.

Worked fine.

Lost power due to a very bad storm. Power lights were on computer but would not boot. Tried every Google suggestion. Since easy return tried a new adaptor and bought genuine Dell for value as $3 more. Tried thinking possibly fried and my AIO was saved.

Charger is perfect be careful of bending cord it will break.
