These things do a good job of keeping the oil stains off the garage floor during an oil change. I use them around my drip pan and they absorb nicely. They will leak through if too much oil is concentrated in one section of the mat, though. Just double them up if you feel like this might happen.

This is a great product; heavy duty, soak up all the oil out of the water to make an easier disposal.
