I have used a lot of these types of adapters and this is similar to other brands. These create a parallel connection between two panels. If you have more panels, you may want to consider the type with more connections and no wires. I found this easy to work with and can recommend it for weatherproof connections.

These cables are about the quickest and easiest way to parallel two solar panels. The MC4s fit all the solar panels Ive tried. That includes ALLPOWERS, SUnMilY, BougeRV, PowerECO, ACOPOWER, and Mrupoo. These are well made but certainly shop for the best deal.
