> 3 dayThis is just a great umbrella. Its big enough to keep you dry even in heavy rain, but compact enough that its not unwieldy. It sheds water easily and dries quickly, and keeps its shape even in heavy wind.

> 3 dayI like this umbrella. At first look it seemed ordinary. After a more detailed examination it was obvious that it was anything but. It is well made with innovative design. The ribs are much stronger and certainly more supportive than traditional designs. It becomes quite apparent when used for the first time in windy conditions. You can feel the difference. Not only the ribs but also the handle is strong. It has a nice J shape that is comfortable and secure to hold. It also hooks over your arm for easy folded up carrying. The auto opening mechanism is smooth and the thumb button that actuates it is effortless to press. A good quality design is a pleasure to use. This umbrella gives that kind of experience. Seeing that it sells in the mid twenties makes it a good value also. Excellent quality at a good price. 5 stars.

> 3 dayCoincidentally this umbrella arrived on a rainy and windy day, used it anyway because of the strength it touted -it didn’t disappoint. You can tell it is made better than anything you can buy at a local department store. It’s sturdier than my $50 golf umbrella made to handle a breeze.

> 3 day5 stars for the design: one piece 230T fabric (most competitions are 180T - 210T with multiple stitched fabrics) for better water proofing. Double ribs all the way and split at the end to provide much even strength and even support throughout the entire fabric surface. It will withstand much stronger wind no doubt. Never see another umbrella like that. Kudos to the engineering! So why 1 star off? Well, the packaging provides no protection. It arrived bent just above the handle so it won’t open (looked like the carrier dropped something heavy on it). I did get a replacement quickly. But it is not the reason for 1 star off. I liked almost everything about this umbrella, except the new one is so hard to retract to the locking position with both hands. Not sure if it is defective or by design. I have never had one umbrella requires that much effort to close. Not necessarily. I don’t want to bother with trying another replacement to find out if it is just a defective or by design.

Greater than one weekThis umbrella has worked well. For the time that I have had it there have not been any issues. It has a coating on it that causes water to bead which helps it dry quickly so it does not form a puddle inside. I only have two complaints but they are buyer specific. First is that the umbrella is too short to act like a cane (not that I would recommend putting full body weight on it.) Second is that the hook curves in too much. Other than those two things it is a good umbrella that does its job.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is beautiful it is large in size and looks and feels very solid built the only thing I dont like about it is when its closed it doesnt fall in half like some of them do to make it small make it easier to fit in the handbag or a little duffle bag
