Manufacturer recommends not leaving the charger powered-on when not in use. A power switch should have been incorporated into the charger. I purchased a Disscool USB C to USB C Switch Cable, C Type USB 3.1 Extension Cables to easily power-off the charger versus unpluging the charger.

I liked how it is easy to hook up, it is cheep, and it tells you if it’s charging, or when it is fully charged. I recommend this item one hundred percent.

The charger works and does what it’s supposed do in charging the controller efficiently and quickly. However, it’s a hassle to try and get the controller to sit in the cradle. I understand the reviews of it not being a very “secure fit” and that if it’s an an area with movement that your controller would come dislodged easily. That’s not a problem for me, ultimately the issue is that I can’t set the controller into the charger with ease without pulling the device off of the top of my PS5 on my shelf that is a couple feet taller than myself. Overall, it’s an OK product for the price. I just wish that I hadn’t skimped on this type of product and paid for something a little nicer or waited for the Sony branded device to be regularly available.

Im very pleased with this charging dock. Previously I bought a different brand and it just stopped working one day after about a week. No problems with this one.
